Ophthalmologist T.L. Terry gave retro-lental fibroplasia its name. He died shortly after my grandmother arrived at Mass-Ion-Eer in 1946, and this article with his name on it appeared two years later. Does that mean my grandmother actually wrote Terry's paper? Did she finish it posthumously or possibly edit it? Why would this man named Everett somebody make a point of naming my grandmother the real author?
