The World Bank and UNESCO in Education Development
The World Bank has always been very much associated with the financial world of Wall Street. It was a pragmatic solution to work with UNESCO, which was the main authority for education in developing countries at the time. And it was politically important for the World Bank to collaborate with other UN agencies as the bank knew that they were moving on other organizations' turf.
