We follow three kids who are taken in by sheridan smith as the local school teacher, and by jenny ager as bobby. And because its world war too, there's lots of peril, mild peril, on the edges of the frame. Tackles issues like racism and and issues like people may be, may made to feel parias in what it’s like to relocate somewhere. Lots of pretty dark stuff going on here, lots of meat on the bone, but there's also a warmth to it. Ultimately, the performances are good, and i had a decent time with so there you go. The railway children return and we give this one three stars,
