The Band in Purple Rain

The band character again has no arc and you don't really, he doesn't even have standards that make sense where it's like at first. No, it just seems like he just wants to make a band just because the universe told him to making a band like him, cost her and field of dreams. He except when he's not because again, he does this huge audition and throws out all these people and then he's really passively just being like, yeah, you can be in the pants. For them, for like after the audition, he's like a very passive presence in the film. Like the band implodes on its own. He doesn't help them in any way.
