The Importance of Inner Development
The Nordic countries were really ahead of the time 100 years ago. But as I said, we are losing it a bit now and we have actually forgotten about this because after the Second World War, we changed worldview. We stopped reading the German philosophers, we turned to the Anglo-Saxon world,. And there of course, it was the enlightenment philosophers like Locke and Discard with again the tabularos or the blank slate and the mind as a rational machine. That was the model that was sort of dominating analytical philosophy and other thinking. So we wholeheartedly imported that and contributed a bit of our own positivistic thinking there as well.
