Friction of water is much lower on grapine than on graphite. electrons can move in between the layers, but not perpendicular to them. In mono layer r a few ol the elecency are confined to the single layer. They cannot move perpendicular to the lan, and so there is very low panto fiction.
How quantum friction explains water’s strange flows in carbon nanotubes, and the latest from the Nature Briefing.
