The Role of Myeloid Cells in Cytotoxic T Cell Recruitment

PD1 blockade in some of these tumors is dependent on there being a myeloid working. So it's actually the myeloid cells who have the PD1 going on. And so when you remove that, then you have T cell engagement and blocked pathway. But it's not just PD1 on T cells doing this. It's the PD1 on theMyeloid cells interacting with T cell PDL1. That allows the tumor to progress the metastases that are occurring.
