The Fear of No One Paying for Software
A lot of developers will talk about the fact they're going to build this themselves or already are building something like this for themselves. And it's easy to get discouraged by that and say, "Why should I even do this at all?" The beauty of software is that essentially it's extremely scalable. So you can sell it for much cheaper than it was for you to develop over three months. It's actually a steal for me to buy it from you rather than spending those three months on it.
