The Tradeoff Between Welfare and Stateism
Welfare, stateism raises the cost of those who are effectively helping poor people raising their standards of living. Welfare is basically like a blank stone wall that people just approach and take resources from. In fact, social capital is deteriorated because you're no longer going to community members. So I think it just comes down to do you think wealth is a fixed pie or do you think it's an open pie?
