Clifton strength has been such a journey of revelation and like falling in love with the bits that i had shame around for those people that don't. I feel like such emphasis on author voice, but i don't think it emerges until you've written a few books. You can learn this stuff overtime. It doesn't need to be immediate. A bit like your author voice. If we're talking about long term business, you cannot fake it for very long before you like, i can't do this any more.
