There's three classes of people, and they each serve different roles in society. If every part of your soul does what it's best at then you'll have a virtuous existence. The right functioning of reason is wisdom - more than just knowledge. Desire gets a bad rap but we all know that we want things that aren't good for us. This is something that comes back to haunt us again and again.
