Shannon's Genetics Dissertation Is Successful

Shannon didn't really demonstrate the interest in eugenics. What he's really interested in is thinking about different ways to symbolize and do statistics with the genetics of populations. He was quite ahead of his time, but it kind of tells you a little bit about how important personal and professional networks are in science.
