I Don't Like Enthusiasm About Politics
Liberal commentators who nod along with me when i talk about the dangers of popularism on the right are utterly blind to the dangers ofpopularism on the left. I don't like deviations from the law in order to fuel populaism. We don't get oo the tea party, or not the tea party that occupy wall street stuff, without popularism of the lest we don't get it. By populaism, i just mean mass anger,. not channelled into fruitful argumentsor into democratic mechanisms, or legal mechanism. Oh, yes, there's some legal mechanisms here, but you get the point.
