Guitar Songwriting - Is Modular a Good Thing?

The first seed of this album that I've been wanting to make was planted in my brain if you were to go back and tell me like well you're actually not going to like everything you've done so far is going to be scrapped, I would have been devastated. Getting into modular and doing modular for this long I feel like it's made me a better drummer, better guitarist and a better pianist, even though I haven't been playing them as much. "I don't think it's a good or bad thing but it can go either way for sure"
