What Are Assets?

Financial freedom can give you great benefits. But just getting lots of money will not automatically make you happy. If you have a million dollars every year, and you spend a million dollars per year, you're still not financially free. A business that you own is an asset because it's creating income every month. Another example would be rental real estate. It's adding money to your bank account each month.
