How Did FSTs Do an Amazing Job of Stabilization?
FSTs did an absolutely astounding job of stabilization. Managed that patient for two or three days and then they were flown out on a C-17 with an ICU in the back of it to launch stool and on to wall to read. Our mission, because we couldn't evacuate out of country, was to take the full range of care for them. So it was challenging but very rewarding and I could not be more proud of the team that we had.
