What Happens in 2 Samuel 13?

There are a number of parallels between 2 Samuel 13 and the book of Genesis. What happens with one generation is most likely to be repeated by another generation. So there's a sense in which David's life is sort of a microcosm of the bigger history of Israel that's coming down the line.
