The Last Album Was Different

We've been writing for a year and we're doing our first session towards the record when kind of COVID came down. And so it felt like sort of like being on the roller coaster and it goes up and you're going into it. Once your body's already going, there's no stopping it. So I've just been writing... I can't remember a time where I've written more. It feels like being 18, just sitting in a piano for five days in a row and working on a melody for a verse and shit. Really beautiful time.
