The Importance of Listening to Patients
There's always going to be a follow-up explanation, and that's the important thing. The words that they use describe it so that you understand their level of understanding. I think the pain scale can be a bit deceiving sometimes. In my practice, people with ridiculous pain were probably the people in the most pain by some orders of magnitude. It took me a little while to tune into how much pain people with ridiculousPain had.
