The Unknown Consequences of AI

Gary Marcus: Every week or every sometimes every day, we're seeing some new crazy risk from some of these systems. We've never had a technology that is this open-ended and also been adopted this quickly. And so it really does put the pressure on for us to figure out the sound ways to cope with it. Well, I have to unfortunately leave it here for today. But I'm always as I'm following and, you know, researching and following your work just reminded of the quote from Jurassic Park in 1993 where Jeff Goldblum's character says they didn't stop to think about whether or not they should.
