Should We Believe in God or Desire God's Existence?

Should we believe in God and then should we desire God's existence? These different distinctions are really helpful. And it's really about this desire component. The reason why I like this distinction is because there's something that gets brought up a lot by atheists and skeptics that like, you know, Christians just want Christianity to be true.
