Is There a Consistency in the Evidence?

There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that demonstrates that there is a positive benefit. But we don't actually know much about how it works, and that's really difficult to test. The the thing that's most consistent is positive mood. So there's quite a lot of evidence that mood is positively affected. If you want to compare a pill to spending time outdoors, what is that time outdoors actually going to look like? How much time? And we don't really know exactly what we're comparing yet.
