Bayesian Priors and Beliefs

The word prior is a term of jargon that is explicitly Bayesian. We can just use actually higher-level beliefs. But you're also talking about other sorts of perceptual schemas and anything that could organize one's expectations it may have no direct connection to language. So, this is a very tricky term. That's why I end up using the word prior, because it's just become a bit of a term of art.
