The Khmer Rouge were using rockets more and more in the early to mid-70s. The number of casualties per rocket was small, but it caused terror and chaos. After my uncle was killed, my mom, Ali, Kisan, and his parents left their home in Kimpot, took a boat, and fled toward the Vietnam border.
