The Hero Journey
When we follow our true purpose, we are answering a call that takes us on a journey. A Hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. As the Hero, you start out on the journey with your narrow self. To complete the journey, you must experience a transformation which activates a new consciousness and a new way of being in the world. You no longer experience yourself as a separate entity in the world, but rather as an expression of the greater glory of creation. The boon you bring home with you is your gift to everyone.
