Josiah's life will be short but it won't come in that life and he doesn't then just walk away. Instead we get into this chapter where he is going to start doing some what John the Baptist would call making the paths straight. So much so that he's not only going to, as it were, disguise trash, all the idols, but he's going to make sure that even the stuff they were made out of can't be used again. He's going to desecrate. There's going to be destruction and desolation.
