The Importance of Discipline

Lutheranism, Lutheran faith, Presbyterian faith, Methodist church, Episcopalian. All the mainline denominations have actually abandoned historical Christianity to the point where there's so many schisms within. We don't have enough discernment to even ask the question, is this actually good? Is this right? And it's really hard to discern that if your teachers that you respect and follow are promoting it.
