The Traditional View of Marriage

In certain cultures it's common for one man, the dominant man, in this case King Solomon, to kind of hoard the women. So there are situations in certain cultures where the successful men have a lot of women in their hair and a lot of men have no women whatsoever. They're just out of luck as far as genetics are concerned. Obviously it's very different when you have a situation where one man can have hundreds or thousands of women.
