How to Be a Good Conversationalist
Use polite language and practice your polite phrases. Maybe note some of them down so when you take a phone call, you've got them in front of you that you can quickly read if you need to. My next tip is kind of sneaky, but I feel like it would help you relax a bit more. Blame the connection. So if you cannot hear them, people will not be offended. People are not going to get mad or frustrated if you cannot understand them.
