Is This a Movie About Mothers and Daughters?

Tilda Swinton plays an outsized role in this film, or maybe not outsized depending on your take on the movie. I can see what you mean about it being a little slow. We had an argument afterwards about who had this is a movie about mothers and daughters without spoiling too much. Even some great, great films don't necessarily always click for me big for this reason.
