How Did You Get Started in the Police Department?
"I was 19 actually, and in university," she says. "And I went to DC to be interviewed and all that." She turned down a job with the CIA because it wasn't high-level enough for her. After five years of working as a police officer, an operations guy from the CIA asked where she learned how to think this way. He said he didn't know anyone at the academy who could do what you were doing.
