Chesterton's Francis the Fighter

I feel like Chesterton is writing with this kind of boyish admiration. He's channeling that early love in youth and it comes across, especially when he's describing Francis as a young man. And if I was of the school of literary criticism that really went hard into psychology, I would maybe say there's aspects of his love for Cecil here. The community of saints is really that friendship that we are able to have through real relationships with these saints.
