Brands Are No Longer in Control of Everything
Brands have less ownership or thee brand now that they did five, 17 years ago. Brands are no longer in a tub down communication type of relationship with their audience. People expect to contribute to the brand in a way, and expect to communicate directly. The best you can do is to shape the conversation, to guide the conversation. You'd better get it right, because the consequences to day are way more drastic than they were a few years ago.
