Sally Kohn: I got that advice at some point from somebody of, you know, the kids are quiet in the back of the house. They just want to hang out more than be questioned or be told what's the next thing they're supposed to do. She says being with them and then making commentary and observing what they're interested in asking questions about it is like watering a plant. "I think now my daughter actually is really interested in the work I've done with kids," she says.
