The Decolonization of a Curriculum

As a rule of thumb, nobody chooses their words more carefully than Marxist theorists. Far from being gobbledygook or word salad, they're phrasing as the result of obsessing over the smallest possible connotative shades. That's what the discourses of both Michelle Foucault and Jacques Derrida are all about. They see words as powerful and creative, literally generative magic spells that structure the world and thus create the conditions of those who inhabit it.
