There are five different schools of sensemaking now established in the literature. I define sensemaking as how do we make sense of the world so that we can act in it? And with that comes a concept of sufficiency. How do I know that I know enough to act? Because I can't know perfectly. The naturalizing school sits in the middle of these, which is quite a good place to be.
