Teaching English in a New Economy?

I taught English in Budapest just a few years after the political system changed in Hungary. So they went from a kind of communist socialist country to a kind of wild capitalism. Did you see that the top CEOs that you worked with really had these skills of tolerance and curiosity? I mean, was it really there for them?
