How to Develop the Skills of Speaking and Writing

Ask your child to tell you about what he's reading. Give him good books. Have him read those books. Tell me about it. And over time, your child will develop these skills. This is the primary tool that we use in our homeschool. I give my children books, have them read the books, and have them narrate the books. Even this process of testing helps to hone the memory.
