Analysis of Defensive Performance and Team Improvement

Tim O'Malley, Tim Prister, and John Brice of Football Scoop went live on Irish Illustrated Overtime to break down Notre Dame's first-ever CFP win over the Indiana Hoosiers. The Irish dominated Indiana for much of the contest, with Jeremiyah Love getting things started with a 98-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter. A dominant Irish defensive performance kept Indiana out of the endzone for much of the game, thanks to the stellar efforts of Xavier Watts and the Irish defensive line.
