Do We Talk to Our Dogs Like Full on Mister Rogers?
I don't think we talk to dogs nearly enough. Most dogs, like the average dog has ike the receptive language ability of a two year old child. And so the more you talk to them in the same way you would talk to a toddler if you were raising him or her,. Every time you see someone in your suburb environment or yo er, and your dog notices or attends to that information. The more words they have in their vocabulary, the more you are able to fill in the blanks of all these questions and concerns they have about these conditions. They really don't have an evolutionary point or reference for livestock. Guardian breeds weren't ever meant to be sitting in suburban backyards
