Megan Markle wore a black Stella McCartney cape dress to oral argument. The Supreme Court justices don't like get unofficial robe in conjunction with their commission from the president, so they just buy their own robes. Chief Justice Rehnquist famously adorned his robe during the impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton with these three yellow stripes.
