The Basic Cycle of the Drought-Fired Flood Cycle

After floods, what happens is that huge amounts of topsoil are lost. And so then you're more likely to have droughts a few years later. So again, after floods, it's important to build up the soil. If there are lots of techniques in regenerating, permaculture grows so quickly. Birds can replant seeds and squirrels and all sorts of animals play a role in regenerating ecosystems.
