River Crows and the Idiots

For the most part there was great internal cohesion within the tribe, but occasionally things could turn a bit edge. He tells of a story when a member of the River Crow tribe was killed by mistake during shooting practice. The agency would give flour as food, but when they were still bison, nobody really wanted to eat anything made with flour. It does mention also how there were some white folks who married Crow women, primarily because of how easy Crow life was.
