The Tension Between the Concept of States and the Idea of Merge
I think there's definitely a tension between Balaji's idea of like total independence and being able to leave versus what feels like you're talking about merge is like nurturing of community. And we see people leave and then come back, you know, and then leave again. That's very healthy and natural for a city. Whereas for states, yeah, you typically like you have your one state that you're kind of it for life. I think the words really matter here.
