The Last Man Quote Unquote Is Not the Right Word
The modern age is creating mediocrity as something exceptional it's so mediocre that you can't even believe it right. People like Elon Musk have a hard time conceiving of how different somebody who makes that level could be from someone in the nine or ten figure income, he says. Nietzsche has that brilliant quote where he says that the purpose of a nation is to produce five or seven great men or something like this and he continues to expand in the way that he does. He talks about how all cultures are big balls these massive balls of energy which will explode with Titanic nuclear force if they're used properly.
