The First Assembly Line in Coin Operated Amusement
Gottlieb created a very modern factory operation based on assembly line principles. He had 30 employees and he was able at the height to turn out 400 baffle ball machines a day, which in that period was stunning. The main thing here is that Gottlieb knew from his bingo experience that this was probably going to be very popular.
