Why I Don't Think the Block Size Should Be Changed
Vijay: If we allow unlimited block size then you're going to have this gigantic amount of data being transferred across the network and really block chains are very inefficient because everyone has to maintain the entire state. Vijay: Only people who can afford computers that could run on the network and keep the entire history would be able to do it with Bitcoin. He says immutability of the protocol is critical to people's confidence in the monetary policy if a bunch of companies come together and change the block size.
