The Importance of Collaboration in a Design System

The tool is not the collaboration. It couldn't be an enabler, absolutely. The most important thing is sitting down together because the developer will have his or her favorite tools. But now when you've got design system including that, then the design system itself is basically a tool or it's another part of the front end complexity. So this is so much about the understanding. You have to understand it feels like you need to understand the underlying technology to understand why something is like it is.
