The law is no longer a means by which man gets to heaven, but the law is a means bywhich he progressively becomes sanctified in this life. So there is a change in the use of the law when you move from the covenant of works to the covenant of grace. At last, is the awakening of the body, which has in view the consummate state of the believer in heaven. And so these five ways of abrogation k a talk about how the covenant of Works becomes abrogated in light of the covenant of Grace.
