i spent a year working on this overtone system, and then apply for jobs after that'd finished. The raspberry pie computer had been wildly successful as hardware but they were really struggling to find interesting software which would engage children in coning. And so i said, or maybe i could take some of my overtone ideas and simplify them in a way that children could work with, and get that running on the rasu pie. So that was the start of sonic pie. It comes from rasu pie and sonic audio.
